Description
SpaceX is hiring an EMC/EMI Test Technician to perform emission and immunity testing of avionics and electrical systems, design and fabricate test fixtures and harnesses, operate spectrum analyzers and other test equipment, measure antenna and shielding effectiveness, troubleshoot complex problems, and maintain test facilities. The role requires an associate's degree in electronics or two or more years of direct electronics experience, plus two or more years of consumer electronics or electrical hardware testing and test-fixture fabrication experience. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with aerospace and electromagnetic standards, flight-hardware testing, Python scripting, CAD, and lab accreditation. The position may require extended hours, weekend work, and short travel, and applicants must meet ITAR eligibility requirements.
