Description
The Michigan State Police is actively recruiting an Emergency Dispatcher to support police officers by providing critical information and services, conducting preliminary investigations, interpreting computer printouts, coordinating emergency personnel and equipment, and handling routine assignments. The role requires CPR and basic first aid knowledge, a high school-level education, and either no prior experience for Emergency Dispatcher 7 or one year of equivalent experience for Emergency Dispatcher E8. Applicants must pass a pre-employment screening, background and fingerprint checks, and an agency-administered dispatching examination.
