Description
Emergency Medical Technician-Basic role providing pre-hospital basic life support care and safe transportation of sick and injured patients in compliance with local, state, national, and Acadian Ambulance standards. The position involves patient assessment, basic life support treatment, ambulance driving, patient documentation, equipment checks, inventory management, and maintaining readiness of the ambulance and equipment; it may also include precepting new EMT-Basic employees and students.
