Description
Acadian Ambulance is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic to provide pre-hospital basic life support care and safe, efficient ambulance transport of sick and injured patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. The role includes patient assessment, documentation, equipment checks, inventory, vehicle operation, communication compliance, station duties, and possible precepting of new EMTs or EMT-Basic students. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, EMT-Basic certification, current CPR certification, and a valid state driver's license, along with strong communication, urgency, and ability to work under pressure.
