Description
An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Hackensack Meridian Health provides Basic Life Support (BLS) services for emergency and non-emergency requests, ensuring safe and prompt patient transportation. This role involves critical thinking to assess, triage, communicate, treat, and transport patients of all ages in various settings, including emergency transport and special events. EMTs must seamlessly integrate care with other emergency agencies and healthcare providers, complete patient care reports, and perform daily operational tasks in accordance with New Jersey Regulations and HMH protocols. The position serves Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Union Counties.
