Agnico Eagle is hiring an Underground Firefighter/Instructor for its Detour Lake Mine. Reporting to the Asset Protection and Emergency Management Superintendent, the role combines firefighting operations, incident response, rescue, equipment maintenance, training program development, volunteer firefighter oversight, and emergency support. The position requires extensive industrial or municipal firefighting experience, leadership experience, relevant NFPA certifications, and the ability to work 12-hour days on a 14-on, 14-off schedule with emergency response as needed. The role is based at the mine, with accommodations and meals provided and transportation to and from the site.
