Description
The Communications Specialist works in UC Health’s transport communications center, triaging patients, coordinating ground and air medical transport, communicating with crews and healthcare providers, providing flight following, managing staffing and resources, and supporting quality improvement and safety. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and NAACS certification or an equivalent course, with EMT or Paramedic certification strongly encouraged and at least three years of EMS or equivalent communications or dispatch experience.
