Description
Empire is hiring in-field shop and field technicians/mechanics to repair, recondition, service, troubleshoot, and diagnose Caterpillar and allied heavy equipment in the field. The role includes preparing equipment for delivery, maintaining client relations, completing service reports, controlling repair costs, and traveling to remote locations. Candidates need at least six months of related experience, a valid driver’s license, English communication skills, safety awareness, and the ability to pass an eTRAIN skills assessment; heavy equipment, Caterpillar, hydraulics, electrical, powertrain, engine, and Tier IV emissions experience are preferred. The position offers multiple shifts, Monday through Friday, and pays $21.20 to $60.08 per hour.
