The City of Essen is hiring a part-time employee to support geodata management, sensor technology, and digital twin work for road condition assessment. The role involves processing, maintaining, and updating geodata; performing analytics; preparing and visualizing data in GIS or mapping applications; and developing the road digital twin to support the Office for Roads and Transport. The position is based in Essen, offers mobile working, and requires a relevant degree, GIS and Python skills, geodatabase experience, and German language proficiency.
