Ability Beyond is hiring an entry-level Employment Specialist Trainee – SPARK CT for a 9-month paid training position in Greater Waterbury, Greater Danbury, and Greater Norwalk/Stamford/Bridgeport. The role provides hands-on employment services, including job development, employer outreach, job coaching, case management, service coordination, documentation, and community networking, while preparing the trainee for a future Employment Specialist career. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and organizational skills, technology-learning ability, a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and the ability to travel and transport individuals; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. The position pays $20.50 per hour and does not include benefits.
