Description
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic responds to emergency calls, drives an ambulance, provides basic life support and emergency care, transports patients, performs rescue and scene-safety procedures, documents patient care, and maintains equipment and supplies. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, specialized emergency medical training, six months of related experience or equivalent education and experience, a valid state driver’s license, and South Carolina and National Registry EMT-Basic, CPR, ITLS, and PEPP certifications. It is a full-time rotating 12-hour shift position with a base hourly rate of $23.23 and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
