Amazon is hiring an Emulation Engineer to define and bring up emulation environments for ASIC and system-level emulation of next-generation modems. The role involves building emulation models, developing C++ testbench frameworks, debugging hardware and firmware issues, creating verification test plans, optimizing emulation performance, and collaborating with architecture, systems, design, verification, silicon validation, board, and platform teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, at least 10 years of SOC emulation and validation experience, expertise with emulation platforms such as Cadence Palladium or Mentor Veloce, and proficiency in hardware description languages and C/C++ with scripting experience.
