Description

MatX is hiring a Senior/Staff Emulation Engineer to build infrastructure, flows, and debug methodology for advanced connectivity SoCs. The role covers emulation strategy, commercial emulation platforms, hardware/software co-emulation, reusable transactors and agents, automation, emulation performance, and LLM-based engineering tooling. Candidates should have hands-on SoC emulation or system-level validation experience, commercial emulation platform experience, Verilog/SystemVerilog and waveform-debug skills, and strong software and automation capabilities. The position offers a US base salary of $250,000–$600,000 plus equity, along with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on SoC emulation or system-level validation experience
Experience with a commercial emulation platform such as Palladium
Verilog/SystemVerilog and waveform-debugging skills
Software and automation experience with Python and at least one additional language
Preferred Qualifications: UVM or hybrid SoC testbench development
Integration of cycle-accurate, software, or reference models
Rust in verification or emulation flows
Bazel or large-scale build and regression systems
