The role supports safe and efficient endoscopic procedures by preparing patients and equipment, assisting physicians, sterilizing and documenting scopes and supplies, and applying critical thinking and independent judgment in stressful environments. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a Surgical Technologist Program and Basic Life Support certification are preferred.
