Description
The Endoscopy Technician provides service and support before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities include arranging equipment and supplies, cleaning endoscopes, expediting room turnover, providing basic care and diagnostic tests, maintaining endoscopic equipment, and maintaining supply inventory. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of endoscopy experience, at least two years of hospital or healthcare experience in a clinical setting, and collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; CRCST or CST certification is preferred.
