Humber Polytechnic is hiring a full-time Energy Engineer for its Capital Development & Facilities Management department at the North Campus. The role focuses on improving energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions across existing campus buildings by analyzing and optimizing HVAC, building automation, metering, lighting controls, and energy analytics systems. Responsibilities include identifying and delivering energy-saving initiatives and projects under $250,000, managing measurement and verification, preparing capital business cases, coordinating utility incentives, and promoting sustainability through reports, presentations, technical papers, and events. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Engineering, an Ontario P.Eng. or EIT designation, and at least five years of relevant building energy systems, retrofit, HVAC, and energy management experience.
