Description

GHD is hiring an Energy Project Engineer/Project Manager to support renewable energy projects in Victoria and Tasmania. The role covers wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects from early development through approvals, connection, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and construction readiness, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and leading proposals and client delivery. The position is ideally based in Melbourne or Hobart, with discussions possible for other GHD offices in the two states.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience across the renewable energy project development lifecycle, including early development, planning and approvals, stakeholder engagement, network connection, risk management, and progression toward FID.
Proven project management capability, including leading multidisciplinary teams, managing competing priorities, and maintaining accountability for project outcomes.
Client-facing and commercial capability with established relationships across developers, owners, contractors, and other renewable energy market participants.
Preferred Qualifications: RPEV or equivalent professional registration
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
