Microsoft is hiring an Energy Resource Manager to manage IT capacity allocation and deployment planning for data centers supporting cloud services such as Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on reducing stranded capacity, optimizing space, power, cooling, and network resources, leading retrofit and capacity-harvesting projects, coordinating with electrical and critical-environment teams, managing service delivery and vendor relationships, and supporting data center operations, safety, security, and customer impact mitigation.
