Description
The Automation Controls Engineer will own, troubleshoot, modify, and optimize PLC/HMI control systems for automated paint and exterior-vehicle manufacturing systems. The role includes preventive and predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis, capital projects, software and electrical system enhancements, documentation, vendor coordination, and support for maintenance personnel. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, at least two years of relevant automation experience, programming and controls expertise, AutoCAD, project management, and strong communication and math skills.
