The Canal & River Trust is hiring an Engagement Coordinator for a five-month part-time temporary role, potentially extendable subject to funding. The role delivers community engagement, volunteering, environmental, health and wellbeing, and paddlesport initiatives across the Northwest, recruiting and supporting volunteers, coordinating activities, managing project administration and budgets, monitoring impact, and building stakeholder relationships. It is home-based with local hubs in Ellesmere Port or Rose Grove, Burnley, and requires regular travel to project areas including Rochdale, Wigan and Ellesmere Port. The role offers a starting annual salary of £31,450 on a full-time-equivalent basis, along with pension, holiday and employee benefits.
