Description

Blue Origin is hiring an engine cycle and propulsion systems engineer within its Engines business unit. The role performs engine cycle balance analysis, fluid-system modeling, trade studies, engine and component testing support, and in-service operations analysis. It requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, at least 2 years of engineering experience, complex fluid-system modeling, numerical methods, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, power systems, data analysis, and programming with Python, MATLAB, or Fortran. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, propulsion system modeling software experience, product lifecycle performance analysis, engine qualification and testing, and Agentic AI experience. Relocation is provided and travel is expected up to 10%.
