Description
Ford is hiring an Engine Component Design and Release Engineer to support the V8 Coyote/Predator Powerpack Forward Model programs. The role designs and releases core engine components, owns 3D models and 2D drawings, leads component program module and engineering release activities, manages supplier and launch issues, supports CAE analysis and validation testing, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field is required; experience with CAD, ICE engines, dynamometer testing, and CAE simulation is preferred. The position is hybrid, may require onsite work four or more days per week, and offers a salary of $65,100 to $166,200.
