The role covers engine health monitoring, reliability analysis, maintenance planning, shop-visit coordination, life-limited parts and materials management, FAA compliance, and fleet availability optimization. It requires at least five years of experience with CFM56-3 or comparable turbofan engines, knowledge of aviation maintenance and FAA requirements, and occasional travel to engine shops and vendor facilities.
