Description
The Engineer 1 – Software role designs, develops, and maintains PLC, HMI, servo, and motion-control software for automated machinery. Responsibilities include modifying machine programs, configuring and commissioning controls, troubleshooting software and machine-integration issues, supporting machine startup and customer training, and providing remote technical support. The role requires a four-year degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or comparable work experience, along with PLC, HMI, servo/motion-control, machine-debugging, and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
