Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking a Process Engineer to improve and troubleshoot mechanical manufacturing processes such as printing, slicing, dicing, and TAN processing; develop, qualify, and operate equipment and materials for elements and ceramics; support product, process, and special projects; address production issues and customer complaints; manage corrective actions, audits, technical changes, consumables, and process performance; and coach teams while collaborating with design, engineering, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering, or a related engineering field, plus at least two years of relevant machining-process experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably mechanical-part or semiconductor manufacturing.
