Comcast is hiring an Engineer 2 to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support scalable software applications and data platforms in cloud and distributed-computing environments. The role focuses on Scala-based software development, Apache Spark and distributed data processing, backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, integrations, testing, CI/CD, production troubleshooting, and collaboration with technical and business teams. A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field plus 2–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination, is required; the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship and may require nights, weekends, and variable schedules.
