The role emphasizes advanced Java and Spring Boot development, RESTful services, microservice architectures, SQL and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Cloud infrastructure, Git, Linux/macOS, shell scripting, and Python/Bash automation. The engineer will also mentor junior engineers, collaborate with Quality Assurance, provide technical leadership, train application users, and work a variable schedule that may include nights and weekends.
