Description
The Senior/Principal Engineer will support the deployment and start-up of GMP large-molecule biologics manufacturing facilities in Wilson, North Carolina, with domestic travel most likely once per year. The role provides integrated equipment, utility, and facility engineering expertise across technology transfer, manufacturing projects, process technology, and CAPEX initiatives, while leading multi-functional teams and coordinating with technical operations, manufacturing, quality, and engineering stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's or equivalent degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, at least eight years of process or plant engineering experience in GMP large-molecule biologics facilities, and experience with brownfield GMP facility start-ups.
