Description
The AWS Infrastructure Sustainability Tech team is hiring an Engineer to develop customer-facing sustainability products and technologies for AWS infrastructure, including renewable energy portfolio management, carbon-footprint reduction, distributed computing systems, storage, indexing, and query systems. The role involves collaborating with customers and partners, translating requirements into prototypes and scalable solutions, and leading and mentoring engineers. It requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 114,800 to 191,800 annually.
