Dougherty Manufacturing is hiring a full-time Design Engineer for SOLACE Boats in Edgewater, Florida. The role owns the creative and technical design of boat hulls, decks, interiors, fiberglass components, helm stations, and workstations from concept through production-ready detail. The engineer will create Rhino 3D models, produce renderings, develop technical drawings and specifications, validate manufacturability with production and manufacturing teams, support prototypes and sea trials, and maintain design documentation. The position is onsite, follows a Monday–Friday schedule, and requires a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on marine design experience, strong Rhino and rendering skills, and knowledge of boat construction, composite manufacturing, and marine regulatory standards.
