FHU is seeking a Mid-Level Transportation Engineer to join their team in Lincoln, NE. This role involves working on various transportation projects, primarily under or alongside a senior project manager. Responsibilities include using CAD software like MicroStation OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D for design planning, preparing design criteria and documentation, coordinating design elements, assisting with budgeting and marketing strategies, supporting business development, managing project schedules, instructing junior engineers, and ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, 5-10 years of transportation engineering experience, and proficiency in surface modeling.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5 to 10+ years Transportation Engineering experience including but not limited to roadway, highway, interchange, and equivalent transportation design engineering.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in MicroStation OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D is desired with emphasis in surface modeling.
Ability to multi-task several projects at one time while staying on budget and on schedule.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence and use tools such as MS Excel and MS Word.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public including the use of PowerPoint.
Experience in development of roadway plans, specifications, and opinions of probable costs.
Nebraska PE (or ability to obtain via reciprocity) is required.
