Holder Construction is hiring a full-time, in-person Engineer for its Preconstruction team in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves reviewing construction design documents and specifications, preparing cost estimates and quantity surveys, managing cost and design issues, coordinating trades and BIM processes, and overseeing purchasing, scope coordination, proposal evaluation, trade negotiations, and contracting. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related construction or engineering field, 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication and time-management skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software, teamwork ability, and willingness to relocate.
