Huawei Canada is hiring for an Engineer on a 12-month contract within its Advanced Optical Technology Lab. The role focuses on advanced R&D for high-performance optical communications and networking, including modeling high-speed optoelectronic components and fiber channels, analyzing device impairments, building offline and online testbeds for FEC performance evaluation, and collaborating with DSP, ASIC design, and modem control teams to improve direct and coherent optical transceivers.
