Kier is hiring a Highways Design Engineer in Basingstoke, Hampshire, with remote working available and occasional travel to the office. The role supports highway design solutions by contributing to technical drawings, specifications, design calculations, fee estimates, design programmes, and tender documents; managing budgets, quality, and time targets; building client and stakeholder relationships; and mentoring junior colleagues. Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering degree or similar qualification with relevant experience and have highways design experience, including knowledge of DMRB/MCHW design standards. The position offers 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility, and Kier does not offer certificates of sponsorship.
