Klarna is seeking a general Engineer to own production code, solve vaguely defined problems, learn unfamiliar codebases, document systems, make well-reasoned decisions, use AI as a working method, and participate in code reviews. The role is not tied to one fixed team and may be placed in a related domain such as risk or checkout depending on hiring needs. Candidates should have built projects beyond coursework or job descriptions, explain systems they built, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve after mistakes. Most teams meet in the office two to three days per week, and candidates should include a CV in English.
