Description
The Chief Engineer serves as the senior technical authority and executive advisor for the Sensor Integration and Technology Department, overseeing systems engineering methods, technical policies, customer-funded work, risk management, root cause analysis, documentation standards, and the development of engineers and scientists. The role requires a professional engineering degree or equivalent engineering qualification, at least one year of specialized experience at the ND-04 level, a US citizen status, a required security clearance, and the ability to travel extensively, including to remote or isolated sites.
