Raft is hiring a Platform Engineer to automate and orchestrate critical infrastructure for national-security projects. The role manages Ansible and Puppet configurations across RHEL and Windows, deploys and maintains Kubernetes clusters with RKE2 and Rancher, and operates open-source applications including NiFi, Kafka, Zookeeper, MinIO, Keycloak, Longhorn, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Promtail, and GitLab. The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and seven years of experience with the listed technologies. It is onsite in San Diego, California, may require up to 10% travel, and offers a salary of $120,000 to $185,000 plus healthcare, dental, vision, retirement matching, paid time off, and holidays.
