Description
The BM Engineer supports research and development, material characterization, formulation development, supplier qualification, and scale-up of extruded attenuation materials. The role applies chemistry, materials science, and polymer engineering knowledge to develop polymer-based systems, optimize extrusion processes, establish material specifications and test methods, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and transfer materials from laboratory or supplier trials to production. It is an onsite second-shift position with approximately 10% remote work, reporting to an Engineer Manager in the Research and Development department.
