Description
The Engineer Co-Op applies engineering and safety principles in a chemical manufacturing environment to improve processes, support reliability and maintenance, and drive cost, safety, and efficiency improvements. Responsibilities include process and equipment troubleshooting, process-control and material-handling system support, engineering calculations, procurement assistance, feasibility studies, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. The role requires current enrollment in a relevant engineering degree program, completion of sophomore year or higher, daily commuting to Muscatine, Iowa, and willingness to work 40 hours per week in a chemical manufacturing environment. Compensation is approximately $24.00 to $45.50, with possible bonus or commission and benefits such as health, vision, dental, retirement, and paid time off.
