Egis is hiring an Engineer, Communications for its Sacramento, California office to develop and deliver communications systems for complex transportation infrastructure projects. The role covers engineering deliverables, requirements and system architecture, interface coordination, supplier and contractor design review, regulatory and compliance activities, testing, commissioning, integration, defect resolution, and operational acceptance. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, a Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one, and at least 10 years of experience in railway communications, operational telecommunications, or transportation systems engineering. The position offers an anticipated base salary of $160,000 to $240,000 annually, along with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
