Description
The Design Engineer develops, optimizes, and refines product designs for manufacturing, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, safety, and client requirements. The role covers electrical design, calculations, simulations, prototype testing, documentation, design reviews, production trials, client coordination, and continuous improvement, with a focus on LV switchgear, protection relays, control logic, and digital numerical protection systems. The position requires a graduate or diploma in engineering, strong knowledge of LV switchgear and protection protocols, proficiency in AutoCAD or EPLAN, and 7–8 years of experience designing complex LV switchboards.
