Eaton Aerospace is hiring an Electrical Test Design Engineer in Wimborne, Dorset, on a hybrid model. The role owns technical work packages and develops automated electrical test systems for aerospace products, from concept through deployment and ongoing support. Responsibilities include solving test equipment and hardware integration problems, producing engineering documentation, investigating product and manufacturing issues, using laboratory instrumentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting supplier procurement, and contributing to continuous improvement. The position requires an engineering or science degree, apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent practical experience, along with electrical and electronic systems knowledge, schematic interpretation, laboratory equipment experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
