Genesis10 is seeking a VMware Data Center Exit Engineer for a 12-month hybrid contract with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role supports storage and compute/virtualization workstreams through migrations, environment builds, decommissioning, infrastructure design, virtualization administration, troubleshooting, automation, capacity planning, and coordination with application, infrastructure, business, and vendor teams. The position requires 5–7 years of VMware engineering experience and extensive knowledge of VMware, cloud, converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, storage, operating systems, scripting, backup, and project management technologies.
