Description
The Engineer I will support the Division of Regulatory Services by reviewing engineering portions of environmental resource permits and compliance applications, preparing technical reports, conducting site inspections, evaluating monitoring data, and assisting with permit determinations and enforcement actions. The role is primarily office-based with periodic field visits and requires a bachelor's degree in an environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural, or water resource engineering field, a Florida driver's license, and the ability to work in uncomfortable outdoor conditions. The position is based at the Palm Bay Service Center and offers a starting salary of $61,318.40 to $76,648.00, with benefits including health and dental insurance.
