Description
The role performs civil/structural engineering and design activities for power plant upgrades and new power plant projects under senior engineering supervision. Responsibilities include evaluating conditions, performing calculations, modifying and developing designs, and improving plant performance, safety, and reliability. The position requires a BS in civil or structural engineering, knowledge of ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7, communication and presentation skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, project-management and time-management abilities, security and drug-screening clearance, unescorted nuclear plant access, and willingness to perform field work, including confined-space and hazardous-area access. Overtime and travel to client sites are required.
