Description
Zachry Nuclear Engineering, Inc. is hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer to perform engineering and design activities for power plant upgrades and new power plant projects under senior engineering supervision. The role involves electrical calculations, modifications, design changes, equipment walk-downs, and work on project teams to improve plant performance, safety, and reliability. The position requires a BS in electrical engineering, knowledge of electrical power distribution and load-flow, voltage-drop, and short-circuit calculations, and the ability to work in industrial and nuclear plant environments. Preferred qualifications include an MS in electrical engineering, nuclear power industry experience, ETAP or SKM modeling experience, and Fundamentals of Engineering certification. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with travel to client sites, overtime, and no relocation assistance.
