Description
The Systems Engineer I supports the design, development, integration, testing, verification, and validation of MSD instrumentation, including electromechanical, fluidic, thermal control, imaging, and software automation systems. The role involves data analysis, experimental characterization, reliability and failure-mode analyses, test planning, change orders, and cross-functional collaboration in R&D, light-manufacturing, and engineering office environments. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or an associate’s degree with commensurate experience is required, while scientific or medical instrumentation and ISO cGMP experience are preferred. The annual base salary is $67,900 to $101,000, with medical, dental, and vision coverage and other benefits.
