Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an entry-level Applications Engineer for its USB and Networking Group. The role develops application collateral, maintains and extends Linux/QNX/VxWorks/Windows drivers, supports PCIe and USB applications, creates trade-event demonstrations, delivers technical training, provides direct technical support to sales and field application engineers, and collaborates with design, product, test, marketing, and sales teams on new applications and products. The position requires an electrical engineering degree or equivalent, knowledge of mixed-signal circuits and embedded software, and strong communication and computer skills; travel is 0–25%.
