ASM is hiring a Field Service Engineer in Chitose, Hokkaido, Japan to install, adjust, upgrade, and maintain semiconductor process equipment in customers’ cleanrooms. The role also supports customer communication, equipment-log analysis, report preparation, hardware troubleshooting, new evaluation projects, and process development and improvement for experienced candidates. Applicants need at least five years of related field-service experience, business-level Japanese proficiency, and English proficiency beyond reading and writing.
