Description
Alliant Energy is hiring an Engineer II on its Grid Planning team to plan and evaluate generation, transmission, and distribution systems, including new wind, solar, battery, and gas resources and their interconnection with MISO. The role performs grid planning studies, system modeling, power flow and technical analyses, distribution energy resource interconnection reviews, power quality assessments, agreement support, risk evaluation, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination while applying engineering, regulatory, and company standards. A bachelor's degree from an accredited engineering program and two years of related experience are required.
